陶友蘭 is a Professor of Translation Studies and Chair of the Department of Translation and Interpreting at Fudan University， China. She also directs the MTI program and teaches English writing， translation theory and computer-assisted translation. She received an MS in TESOL from the State University of New York and a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from Fudan University. Her research interests include translation pedagogy， translation technology and reception studies. She has published a number of monographs， textbooks， translated works and academic papers in leading national and international academic journals. She also serves as a member of the Editorial Board and a reviewer of SSCI journals such as Interpreter and Translator Trainer， Perspectives： Studies in Translation Theory and Practice.
