本書共有十章，包括采購計(jì)劃、對(duì)供應(yīng)商的考察與調(diào)研、詢價(jià)、談判、訂貨、付款、交貨與裝運(yùn)、合同、保險(xiǎn)和索賠。每一章中有七個(gè)板塊：Core Module，Background Information，F(xiàn)unctional Devices，Exercises，Brainstorming，Useful Expressions和Keys to the Exercises。Core Module中一般有若干個(gè)部分，通過會(huì)話、信函、短文等形式介紹采購過程的真實(shí)場景；Background Information提供了主題的專業(yè)知識(shí)；Functional Devices則列出了貿(mào)易過程中常用的表達(dá)。同時(shí)本書配了練習(xí)（Exercises）為讀者提供專業(yè)知識(shí)與語言技能相結(jié)合的訓(xùn)練，以加強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)效果。在頭腦風(fēng)暴（Brainstorming）中，本書引入一些開放性的問題，需要讀者在專業(yè)知識(shí)的基礎(chǔ)上運(yùn)用發(fā)散思維來解決，以擴(kuò)展思維視角。本書在每章中還提供了與主題相關(guān)的術(shù)語。附錄中是汽車配件名稱的中英文對(duì)照以及一些重要的縮寫表達(dá)。
